When Is Gold Medal Property Management open?
We are open Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 3 p.m. If you have special circumstances (such as overseas deployment) please contact us by email and we can arrange special appointment times to meet your needs.
Where is your office?
Gold Medal Property Management is located at 1002 E. Elms Road, suite 101 in Killeen, TX. We are across the street from Ellison high school in the South Park Plaza.

Does Gold Medal Property Management have an online rental application?
Yes we do. Please click on the “Apply Online” button on the page for the property you are interested in applying for.
How much is the application fee?
The application fee is a non-refundable $30 for each individual 18 years or older that will be occupying the property. Fees can be paid with cash, money order, or by credit card.
How long are the leases? Do you offer a 6 month lease?
Gold Medal Property Management offers standard 1 year leases on all its rental properties. In certain exceptional circumstances we may be able to offer 6 month leases with property owner approval and additional rental charges may apply. Please contact our office for more information.
Will Gold Medal Property Management hold a property for me?
Yes – with a full security deposit and an executed lease we will hold a property for up to 14 days.
How quickly can I move in?
After your application is approved (the approval process can take up to 1 business day), we can schedule your move-in within 1 to 2 business days, depending on property readiness. Please read our “Gold Medal Property Management Rental Process” page for more important information.
I’m moving to the Killeen/Fort Hood area. Can I have a rental property ready for me to move in when I get there?
Yes. While we prefer that you come to our office and check out keys in order to view the property in person, we can accommodate your needs in certain circumstances. For example, if you are currently in the US Army and deployed overseas, we can work with you to arrange a virtual showing of the property and get your paperwork in order so that you can move in when you arrive. There is a “sight unseen” addendum that will have to be executed by all parties responsible for the lease.
Do you accept pets?
Yes – on properties where the owners have specifically allowed pets, Gold Medal Property Management does allow certain pets. Please refer to the Gold Medal Property Management Pet Policy page for more details.
How much is the pet fee?
The non-refundable fee per animal is $200 each for up to 25 lbs and $300 each for over 25 lbs. German Shepherds, Grade Danes and Mastiffs require property owner approval and proof of adequate insurance.
Certain aggressive breeds of dogs are prohibited at all times, including Pit Bull Terriers, Staffordshire Terriers, Rottweilers, Presa Canarios, Chows Chows, Doberman Pinschers, Akitas, Wolf-hybrids, Cane Corsos, Alaskan Malamutes, and Siberian Huskies. Please contact our office for a complete list of banned dog breeds.
The non-refundable pet fee for fish/reptiles/gerbils/hamsters/etc. under 15 gallons is $200 per tank. For 15-30 gallons the non-refundable fee is $300 per tank. For tanks over 30 gallons the non-refundable fee is $500 per tank. Tanks exceeding 50 gallons require property owner approval & proof of adequate insurance.
Does Gold Medal Property Management allow smoking in any properties?
Smoking is strictly prohibited in all of our rental properties. Violations will result in immediate termination of the lease and the tenant will be charged for replacement of the carpet and a full interior paint of the property. Other charges may apply.
Does Gold Medal Property Management accept Military Waivers?
Sorry, we do not accept Military Waivers.
Does Gold Medal Property Management accept roommates?

Does Gold Medal Property Management look at my credit and rental history as well as do a background check?
Yes – Gold Medal Property Management will conduct a thorough credit report and background check on all adults listed on the leasing application. Please read our “Gold Medal Property Management Rental Process” page for more important information.
Can I have a friend or family member view the home for me?
Yes, however you must fill in the application forms and provide all of the necessary documentation and pay all fees, as well as sign the “sight unseen” addendum.
Do I need to make an appointment to view a home?
No, Gold Medal Property Management has made it easy for you to view vacant rental properties. Just stop by our office and check out a key during our normal business hours. Please see the Gold Medal Property Management Rental Process page for more details.
What do I need to bring in order to rent a property?
You will need a valid government issued photo ID, proof of income, valid social security card, application fee and the full security deposit. Please read our “Gold Medal Property Management Rental Process” page for more important information.
When is my rent due?
Rent is due on the 1st of the month and is late after the 3rd. A late fee will be assessed after the 3rd. All renters who pay on time are automatically entered into our quarterly drawing for a prize.
How do I pay my rent?
You can pay your rent online through your tenant portal using your bank account and routing information. You can also pay with a money order or cashier’s check dropped by our office.
Can I pay my rent over the phone?
We do not take any form of payment over the phone. You are encouraged to login to your tenant portal and pay your rent online. You may also come into our office and make a payment or drop your money order off after hours in our payment drop box.
I can’t login to my portal – What Should I Do?
You can click on the “Forgot your password?” link or contact our office during normal business hours and a member of our staff will be happy to help.
