Gold Medal Property Management was started by a group of property owners who knew there had to be a better way to manage their properties and their relationships with their tenants. We were disappointed by the customer service other property management companies in the Killeen/Fort Cavazos (Fort Hood) area gave to both the tenants and the property owners. We believe that people deserve to be treated with honesty and respect – and so we formed Gold Medal Property Management to do just that.

Our tenants will find that Gold Medal properties are maintained to a higher standard. For example, we schedule preventative maintenance on all of our properties to make sure things stay working right. And if something does go wrong, we’re there – 24/7 making sure that your rental experience doesn’t leave you out in the cold. At Gold Medal Property Management you can create a work order online, at any time of the day or night. You can also check on the status of your work order online – anytime! If you prefer, you can also call in your work order to our work order hotline: (254) 213-2133. We’ll take your information right over the phone and enter it into our computer system. After that you can check status online or call us back and we’ll do it for you.

At Gold Medal you can also pay your rent online from the convenience of your own home, or anywhere you happen to be.

As co-owners of Gold Medal Property Management, Keith and Janet bring a hands-on, people-first approach to everything they do. Janet, a licensed Broker, leads the team with a focus on leasing, marketing, operations, and real estate sales. Keith, also a licensed real estate agent, heads up property condition and vendor management—making sure homes are well cared for and ready for what's next.

 

Outside the office, you’ll find them enjoying time with their kids and grandkids, tending their garden and chickens, or out with their two German Shepherds. Keith enjoys woodworking, while Janet loves painting and giving old furniture new life.

As Owner Liaison, Luke is here to make sure new property owners have a smooth and stress-free start with Gold Medal. From the first welcome to ongoing support, he’s the go-to contact for questions, updates, and anything owners need along the way.


Luke is known for his clear communication and commitment to keeping owners in the loop every step of the way.


When he’s off the clock, you’ll usually find him enjoying time with family, catching up with friends, or cheering on his favorite sports teams.

Yolanda Ramirez-Casillas

As the Supervisor of our Property Specialist Team, Yolanda plays a central role in keeping our homes in top condition. She oversees all maintenance work orders, coordinates with trusted vendors, property safety checks, and leads quality assurance for move-outs. Whether it’s routine maintenance or unexpected repairs, Yolanda ensures everything is handled efficiently and up to Gold Medal standards.


She’s also the go-to person for any questions related to work orders—whether you're a tenant needing an update or a property owner wanting details on repairs, costs, or timelines.


Her clear communication and organized approach help keep everyone informed and confident throughout the process.

Outside of work, Yolanda enjoys relaxing with her husband and catching up on their favorite TV shows.

Property Specialist - Move Outs

  As our Move-Out Property Specialist, Vanessa takes the time to carefully inspect each property, documenting its condition and ensuring everything is in order for a smooth transition. Her easygoing nature puts people at ease, while her sharp attention to detail ensures nothing is overlooked. Whether it’s catching small maintenance needs or answering tenant questions with patience and clarity, Vanessa helps make move-outs less stressful for everyone involved.



When she’s not out in the field, Vanessa enjoys singing, relaxing with her family, and making memories with her loved ones.

Benny Smith

Property Specialist - Safety Checks

Benny serves as Gold Medal’s Safety Check Coordinator, making sure our rental homes meet the highest standards for safety and functionality. He’s out in the field year-round conducting semi-annual inspections, checking everything from smoke detectors and plumbing fixtures to general maintenance concerns. His careful eye helps us catch small issues before they become big problems—giving both owners and tenants added peace of mind.


Reliable and detail-oriented, Benny plays a key role in keeping our properties up to code and our residents safe and comfortable.



Outside of work, Benny enjoys cooking up big meals for his friends and family and spending quiet mornings out fishing.

Richard Hernandez

Property Specialist

As a Move-Out Specialist at Gold Medal, Richard conducts detailed property walk-throughs when tenants move out, ensuring each home is secure and ready for its next residents. He also handles minor repairs—like changing locks and addressing quick fixes—to help maintain our high property standards and smooth transitions between tenants.



Reliable and thorough, Richard brings a practical, hands-on approach to his role, helping us keep properties in great shape for both owners and incoming tenants.

Outside of work, Richard is known for his love of dancing, his legendary karaoke performances, and his deep appreciation for time spent with family.

Jade  Richards

Accounting Department Lead

Jade oversees all things accounting at Gold Medal, from processing vendor payments to helping tenants and property owners with account-related questions. She keeps our books organized and accurate, ensuring every detail is handled with care and transparency.


With a calm and helpful approach, Jade is always ready to assist—whether it's troubleshooting a billing question or making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.



When she’s not crunching numbers, Jade enjoys spending time with her family and pets, and loves getting creative with her favorite hobby: crafting.

Brooke Tolliver

Leasing Supervisor

Brooke leads our leasing team with energy and dedication, guiding prospective tenants through every step of the leasing process. From marketing available properties to coordinating showings, securing signed lease agreements, and welcoming new tenants at move-in, Brooke ensures each experience is smooth, professional, and efficient.


She works closely with our leasing coordinators to keep things moving quickly and clearly—making sure both tenants and property owners feel supported every step of the way.


Outside the office, Brooke enjoys cooking, crocheting, and relaxing with her family and beloved fur-babies.

Leasing Coordinator

 Star helps guide prospective tenants through every step of the leasing journey—from marketing available homes and responding to inquiries, to securing signed lease agreements and coordinating smooth move-ins. She also manages lease renewals, helping tenants stay comfortably settled while keeping everything up to date.


With a friendly, detail-oriented approach, Star brings clarity and care to each interaction.



Outside the office, Star loves spending time with her husband, friends, and family—including her five fabulous cats. She’s also a talented crafter and singer who enjoys sharing her creativity in her free time.

Monique Whitted

Leasing Coordinator

Monique plays a key role in our leasing process—working closely with prospective tenants to guide them from first inquiry to move-in day. She handles everything from marketing available properties and securing lease agreements to processing renewals and ensuring each tenant gets a smooth, welcoming start.


In addition to her leasing work, Monique leads our social media efforts and serves as our in-house photographer—capturing standout photos and videos that help showcase our rental homes online.


Outside of work, Monique is a creative spirit who enjoys gaming, graphic design, anime, cooking, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Kay Gates

Special Projects Coordinator

Kay plays a key role in helping us continuously improve at Gold Medal. She manages customer satisfaction surveys, monitors important metrics, and compiles reporting that helps us track performance and address tenant concerns promptly. Her focus on feedback and follow-through ensures we’re always striving to deliver the best possible experience for both tenants and property owners.



Outside of work, Kay enjoys rock climbing, swimming, and spending quality time with her family and her beloved dogs.
